Per manufacturer literature: "BAMF boats are designed and manufactured to give you quality, comfort, safety and a higher value over time..." "BAMF Boats construction today’s highest quality resins and materials combined with our experience of hand-laid up procedures our boat meets top quality standards. BAMF boats are extremely rugged: Kevlar reinforced keel, foam core construction for thermal and acoustic comfort and hull thickness of ¾”. Our integral molded in stringer grid prevents any long term rot or water absorption giving our hull a lifetime of durability. It all adds up to the best built safest and most comfortable boat you will ever own."

The hull is a modified V of solid hand laid fiberglass construction, with Kevlar reinforcement in the keel. Hull, decks, and superstructure are finished with gelcoat, and the bottom paint appears to be in good condition.

Appropriately for a fishing boat, a considerable amount of space is dedicated to a large and open cockpit. The cockpit is best entered from the half beam swim step on the starboard side through an opening transom door. This is a nice feature as it allows easy boarding for all ages, and is a secure barrier when locked in the closed position.

The cockpit gunwales are high -- providing good freeboard. Gunwales are equipped with rod holders and downrigger mounts. The cockpit holds two large in-deck fish holds. These holds are equipped with a supply of raw water and drain overboard. These can double as storage lockers. A raised cover hinges forward to provide access to the engine compartment (located centerline and at the aft end of the cockpit). Further forward, two inspection plates provide access to the top of the fuel tank.

A cockpit helm station is positioned to the starboard side of the cockpit. Second helm stations allow the skipper to be a part of the action when fishing and are helpful when docking. The cockpit helm station is positioned so that the skipper can monitor navigation instruments located at the primary helm station through a window from the cockpit helm.

A heavy duty Diamond Sea Glaze hinged aluminum door opens into the main cabin. A small settee is located to port which can convert into a single berth. There are three storage compartments underneath the settee offering a considerable amount of storage. The starboard side of the main cabin is configured with a countertop and sink with a storage cabinet underneath the countertop. Just forward to this countertop is the helm station.

The helm station has an adjustable helm seat with shock absorber. Within reach is the wheel, engine/trimtab/windlass controls, switches, and navigational electronics. Engine instruments / gauges are located overhead. The visibility from anywhere inside the main cabin, including the helm station is excellent. It is clear that the designers of this boat cut no corners in maximizing window area. Numerous windows open for fresh air, including the forward centerline window.

A forward cabin is tucked under the foredeck. This cabin will sleep two, and includes an electric marine toilet plumbed to a 20 gallon holding tank. The upholstery can be configured in a number of ways -- as a V-berth or filled in to create a double berth. This space provides access to the anchor locker, and features a large storage area underneath the berth's upholstered cushions. An opening overhead hatch can be opened for fresh air.

The foredeck is best accessed by side decks. The side decks and foredeck are protected by stainless steel handrails, a feature not always seen on boats of this size. The aft end of the cabin top features a stainless steel mast for mounting antennas. The remainder of the cabin top is unused and open. This would be a good spot for securing kayaks or a dinghy, pots, or even installing a solar panel array. Stainless rails run fore-and-aft for securing items to the cabin top.

A bus-type heater heats the cabin and defrosts the windows with heat from the engine coolant loop.

Broker's Comments

2 VIRTUAL TOURS - 1 VIDEO - 99 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS & BROKER'S COMMENTS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS BAMF NORTHWEST 25!

This vessel appears to be a solidly built and lightly used complete fishing package for inshore, coastal, or offshore waters. "Built by Fisherman, for Fisherman" & "Heavy Duty Commercial Quality" are both phrases that BAMF Boats use to market their boats, and these statements are apparent on this BAMF Northwest 25.

This BAMF Northwest 25 shares similarities to the current BAMF 25 Alaskan - although without the galley. This boat really is built for fishing, with a large cockpit enclosed by high gunwales, integral fish holds, and a flat wheelhouse for storing gear such as pots or a tender. Down rigger mounts and pot holders are already installed in the gunwales, and and cockpit helm station allow the captain to be a part of the action while fishing. A marine toilet allows for comfortable extended trips.

The surfaces of the hull, deck, and superstructure are in like new condition, and reflect the quality construction techniques and materials used in construction, and owner attention. A September 2021 survey noted that the hull was in "like new" condition and the topsides were in "very good condition," "unusual for a sport fishing boat of this age." The bottom paint was new in 2021.

The Volvo Penta 5.7 OSXI-EF 320 HP V8 inboard with stern drive has only ~185 hours on it, and similarly looks to be in like new / very good condition. A Magnum two axle galvanized trailer is included with the boat.

Currently located in Port Townsend, WA -- this boat would be at home anywhere between California and Alaska, or beyond. We can help arrange for shipping this boat wherever desired.
