Located under companionway, Volvo 2003 28hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller. QL calorifier (water heater) fitted with immersion coil. Engine has been winterised annually, regularly serviced and had a new starter motor and sea water pump installed in 2010.

Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Spinnaker gear with sheet winches, cleats, uphaul, downhaul, spinnaker pole and pole attachment fittings. Furlex Genoa Type B Mark II furling and reefing system with double groove. Double fairlead genoa cars. Kemp Strut kicker. Additional removable inner forestay. Double skin 'unsinkable' construction (provides improved insulation, sound proofing etc.) GRP hull, teak side-decks, toe rail, cockpit seats and cockpit grating. Cast iron fin keel with bulb. (Draft: 4' 6") Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit. Lockable large stern cockpit locker containing additional battery. Stowage for gas cylinders. Broker's Comments
This Sadler has been owned by one family from new bought in 1988 launched in 1989 she has been very well maintained from new, general annual maintenance includes servicing or replacing sea/stopcocks, toilet, valves etc, The hull was blasted back to gel coat and re-anti fouled in 2008 and the cockpit and coachroof were fully re-sprayed/epoxied in 2003. Various running rigging lines have been replaced, the sails and covers have been regularly valeted and repaired if needed and the electrical system has had new batteries, charger, calorifier and navigation lights in recent years.
