Broker's Comments
Pegasus boats are known to be well built and well performing sail craft. The 700 is the smallest of the range and as such has the potential for trailer sailing. This boat is the later variant, with a fractional rig, which provides a larger mainsail area and therefore improves upwind performance.
The boat has been well maintained, is in good condition and is priced competitively, for a swift sale. The boat has recently been used for occasional, club racing, but would also make an ideal starter boat or vessel for coastal cruising.
The accommodation is pleasantly spacious, with a separate forward cabin and creatively designed galley and navigation station. Outside, the cockpit feels safe and the running rigging leads towards it, adding to ease of and safe handling.
On visiting the boat, I was impressed by its good condition, build strength and design for performance cruising. It is ready to sail, yet has potential for some upgrades to the interior and instrumentation, should a new owner wish to.
