Broker's Comments
The Moody 376 was designed by Bill Dixon as a comfortable and long distance cruiser. Over 300 were built (the 37 and 376 were the same hull) and they remain popular thanks to their solid build quality, spacious accommodation and good looks.
This particular example has benefited from numerous upgrades, starting with the bespoke interior timber work and including a comprehensive electronics package, heating, hot water and a fantastic cockpit enclosure/bimini/sprayhood ensemble which really does keep the outside out!
She was surveyed for the previous owner who then remedied the minor defects and continued to maintain and improve her. The current owner has had an unforeseen change of plan and so she is back on the market having been enjoyed for just a short time.
Everything aboard is designed to make sailing easy and pleasurable. In-mast furling, lines leading aft, plotter on the helm pedestal, comfortable cockpit, drink in hand, fair winds and glorious sunshine!
She's ideal for shorthanded cruising because of her set up or for two couples requiring equal shares in the accommodation department or a family looking for safe comfortable sailing.
