Broker's Comments
Sailed from California via the South Pacific, Philippines and New Zealand to Queensland Australia where she was purchased by the current owners in 2008, this rare single engine version is only on the market due to health issues. She cruises at 7 knots under power, consistently averages over 5 knots under sail and according to the owners can embarrass some modern plastic fantastics off the wind. Comfortable, spacious and well equipped with a walk around double up for'd and a second double for guests to port, she offers the best of both sail and power. Sailing her is a breeze with her all furling rig and all control lines led back to the wheelhouse and an electric winch.
The wheelhouse / saloon has comfortable seating and a dining table, custom eutectic fridge under the helmsman's seat and a dedicated tool/parts drawers to starboard.
Australian Flagged.
