Broker's Comments
This is a lovely classic Jura 35, believed to be the 4th Jura 35 built up in Scotland by DM Russell. In 1978 I believe that a new one of these was around £48,500 plus Vat. In the last 2 years she has had a full osmosis peel and treatment and the hull and topsides have been resprayed, all done professionally by Glasson Boatyard, Lancaster where she now lies (costing £28,000). There is a bit of joinery work that needs doing, mainly in the second cabin where the owner has removed some damp wood where there was once a leak but the new wood fittings have not been completed due to health issues.
The accommodation comprises a wheel house with seating around the table and the helm seat is opposite. Going forward down the companionway steps, there is a cabin on the port side with 2 x single bunks and opposite there is a good sized galley. There is plenty of seating around the saloon table (which converts to double berth), and the heads are opposite. In the forward cabin there are 2 single berths. The engine room is under the wheelhouse and access is gained from the main saloon or the lower deck saloon.
The masts are in the marina racks and are inmast furling with the sails in the masts. The owner tells me the sails are in good order. The boat has had two owners from new and she is VAT paid.
