Broker's Comments
This is a fine example of the traditional, long-keeled, 33ft motor-sailer drawn by Alan F Hill for Prior & Son.
These beautifully crafted boats are exceptionally well built and appointed, with heavy teak interior and solid GRP hull construction.
The layout comprises central cockpit under an open wheelhouse with fore and aft double cabins. There is a well appointed galley with 'easy access' fridge unit, sink and brand new cooker/oven combo (not yet used). The saloon is focused around a large dinning table with ample seating. The fore cabin is deep, airy and light with access ladder to a central hatch.
The interior space is impressive with great head room, volumes of storage and plenty of natural light, this flows throughout the boat to include the aft cabin.
The wheelhouse/ helms position is roomy and extremely well protected by the ridged windscreen and coach roof. A canvas canopy fills the back section completely sealing the area from the elements. Alternatively the canvas can be removed while sailing for additional movement, airflow/sunlight.
Power comes from a Mercedes OM636, meticulously maintained, upgraded and improved by the current owner (a specialist diesel mechanic with over 30 years experience).
As well as the engine being so well cared for the whole boat has received plenty of attention over the last few years with multiple upgrades. The condition of the boat really is a credit to the current owners.
Please don't hesitate to email or call for further information if this beautifully presented motor-sailer takes your interest.
