Broker's Comments

This beautiful wide beam (55ft x 10ft) has been well cared for by the current owner. Built by Dave Clarke, the quality of the vessel is superior to many other wide beams on the market.

The open plan saloon has lot of light, with marine-grade roof hatches, that can be remotely opened and closed. The neat arrangement of the companionway and solid fuel stove maximises the space, while providing extra storage. The sofa is included in the sale and converts to a bed. The TV has been removed, but the wiring, mount and television have all been retained and can easily be reinstated.

The galley boasts a quality finish in all aspects, not least the granite worktops. There is extra space to install a freezer or washing machine if required.

Adjacent to the bathroom is a useful workspace, with power outlets and USB charge points.

There is a full sized shower cubicle and a good size sink in the bathroom, as well as storage space. The composting toilet has been cleverly modified to allow liquid waste to be mixed with fresh water and pumped overboard. This is within CRT regulations.

The main cabin has a full sized double bed, with storage below. And the surrounding closets provide amble clothes space. There is lots of storage on this boat!

The domestic battery bank has been upgraded to Victron 110Ah x4 with smart monitoring. The six panel solar array keeps everything topped up, with only occasional engine running required on the dullest of the winter days.

The engine has been regularly serviced by the owner, starting immediately from cold with no smoke in evidence.

She was last surveyed in 2021, with no reported defects. The hull was epoxy coated and had new anodes fitted in Feb 2023.

BSS expires Nov 2025.
