Broker's Comments
The last surveyor's report from 2009 indicates that this modified fishing vessel (MFV) was constructed in 1976 in Ireland by Killybegs, featuring Carvel planks on sawn Oak timber.
The vessel is equipped with a Caterpillar marine diesel engine but the current owners are unsure of the serviceability of the engine as she has been used as a live-aboard vessel for their entire ownership, so they have never needed to run the engine. She is also fitted with a generator.
Upon boarding, the vessel's expansive internal space, spanning over two internal decks, she certainly feels a unique and impressive space to be.
Having been under the current ownership for some years, the owners have invested an immense amount of time, effort and money into this project. They estimate having invested over £70,000 in upgrades and equipment.
These are too numerous to mention but include a new gas-fired wet central heating system, galley equipment, complete new heads (bathroom) and a master cabin.
The decision to sell has been a very tough one to make given the time and money the owners have invested in this liveaboard boat. But due to family commitments, they have had to now make that decision.
The vessel, in its present state, is still a project that requires further modernisation. However, it holds huge potential to be converted into an impressive and spacious liveaboard.
There is a list of items detailed which will be included in the sale as can be seen in the listing. Any other items will be available via separate negotiation.
Moored in a prominent position with breathtaking views over Plymouth, the mooring rights are transferable to the new owner, with details of the mooring fees available upon request.
