Designed in 1978 by Peter Norlin, the Albin Express is a small cruiser-racer, offering high performance sailing with basic accommodation. The design was conceived as a small racer that could also be cruised around the coast. An unusual boat in England, they are popular in the Baltic, with some raced as a one-design class. In recent years much has been spent on enhancing her race potential with the re-rigging, new spars and comprehensive sail wardrobe.
